30 March 2012 We have downloaded a default file and on verification it was found that for one challan date was wrongly entered as 06/08/2010 instead of 08/06/2010.
Now the problem is the software is not allowing us to correct the same while processing the consolidated FVU, as the challan has been booked.

Now what should be done in this case?
How to revise the return?

30 March 2012 Can u tell which software u r using?
In rpu provided by nsdl, you have to select uodate before changing the date.
In any other Software the date can be changed without doing anyrhing

30 March 2012 We r using Saral TDS, but as tha challan has been booked and the challan number is also wrong, so it may not be possible to update it.
