my salary is 12k and they have deducted 1200 i.e 10%. they have said it is TDS but according to me its not applicable till 2.5L salary please let me know about it in detail thanks

They have deducted tax on the basis that you are a professional and not a salaried employee. You can claim the tds as refund by filing a tax return.
