Dear Friends
a company has filed his TDS return F-Y 2006-07, now he lost the data and deptt raise a notic showing mismatch challan.
now what we should do.
2. if any one who wants to handle the case plese contact to me, assessment would be in Goa.

There is problem for Fy 2006-07.
If the case was for Fy 2007-08 onwards you could have obtained the details of original return filed from NSDL by registering your TAN. This facility is not available for Fy 2006-07.
If the case was for Fy 2007-08 onwards you could have obtained the details of original return filed from NSDL by registering your TAN. This facility is not available for Fy 2006-07.

You might lost the data of your TDS software but what about books of accounts?
You can recheck the amount paid and TDS deducted from the books of accounts!
