I WANT TO KNOW TDS CATOGARY & PESENTAGE FOR THE SAME.

02 November 2013 TDS will be 1% if the single bill payment exceeds 30000 and category section 194C i.e. TDS for contract

& Paid only.70k dtd 6.5.13
rest amt.will be write off
then how could i calulate TDS payment
i have to pay as billing or as per actual payment pl suggest.

02 November 2013 In my opinion you should ask for fresh bill of Rs.70000 and deduct tds on this amount.

No. You are supposed to deduct the TDS on the payment amount.
