20 February 2014 Sir, I got a notice from Income Tax Dept: to clarify TDS 94A (TDS Return- Interest other
than Interest on Securities). But in my 26AS TDS deducted on Interest in term deposits in banks are shown as Section 194A.
Are these TDS94A corresponds to interest amounts returned to depositor on term deposits (if form 15G I submitted to bank)?
But I am unable to view these details and helpless. Please guide. Thank you. D.Anand

20 February 2014 yes. 94A corresponds to 194A. Even when you deposit TDS the code used is 94A

20 February 2014 Thank you Sir. The IT notice says TDS-94A is TDS Return and this is not posted in 26AS. Is this the TDS Returned on 15G/ 15H form
submission (for Term Deposits in banks)?
Sir, from which site I can get 94A details?
