Dear all,
If payment is made to the partnership firm which is engaged in the business of scanning (It has its scanners and through which they are doing scanning of the documents of the customers) then under which section TDS will be applicable? and why?
I m confused between the applicability of 194C and 194J.

According to me TDS will be deducted @ 2% u/s 194C and not 194J as no professional or technical service provided in this case.

Hi Richa.. Thanks for the reply.. I also believe so.. but thing is that some experts cover the same under 'Technical Services' and recommend 194J.
I think it requires li'l more discussion.
