My boss is a director of in another company of the same group.The company has deducted TDS towards director's remuneration as on 31.03.11.Can he take the TDS amount for calculating his individual taxliability wihout considering the remuneration amount provision in this year 2011-11 as income recd which was paid in the current year 2011-12.

To claim credit for tds, corresponding income has to offered for taxation.
