MR X HAS TWO TAN, TAN A AND TAN B. HE HAS MADE PAYMENT FROM TAN A AND FILED THE TDS RETURN FROM TAN B. WHAT IS THE REMEDY AS IN TAN B THERE IS A SHORT PAYMENT NOTICE DUE TO MISMATCH OF CHALLAN

This is a critical case. You need to meet your Jurisdictional TDS AO. Jurisdictional AO can correct TAN no in Challan after taking an Indemnity Bond from you.
