Pls let me know how to calculate tds rate on payment recd from party.
e.g. B/Amt 20000/- Recd payment Rs.18000/-
e.g. B/Amt 20000/- Recd payment Rs.18000/-

TDS deducted is Rs 2000 i.e., 10% of Rs 20000. Please also check if the TDS has been deducted under appropriate section @applicable rates.
