From last few days our clients are receiving notice U/sec 156 of TDS from traces (U.P.) raising demand for interest on late payment, although interest is deposited at the time of depositing return also same is being quoted in return also, but still demand is raised.
In some cases we have matched the challan with NDSL also.
Please guide us how to file reply of the same, and where reply should be filed?

It could not be so because for a singe day delay you will have to pat int for 2 months.
