If you missed claiming your Tax Collected at Source (TCS) on your income tax return because it was updated late in Form 26AS, don't worry. Even if the deadline for revised returns has passed, you can still attempt to rectify the issue. Filing a rectification request under Section 154 for tax credit mismatch is a common approach. While some users have faced difficulties, others have successfully obtained refunds by uploading a revised ITR through rectification.
