there are serveral policies and tax exempted bonds which provide EEE model. refer section 80C.

Could you please confirm me whatever the amount invested in Post Office Time deposit Rules is 100% exempted from Income Tax subject to limit of Rs. 1.00 Lac or only a part of the invested.

yes. if it exceeds not less than 5 years in an account under the Post Office Time Deposit Rules, 1981.
