30 August 2011 Is there any way to check the tds return submitted by assessee ,if the records with assessee is only of tax paid challan.

30 August 2011 No there is no way you can check the details of TDS return submitted by the assessee through TDS Challan. For this you need PRN no.

01 September 2011 I agree with the expert but the persons from whom tds has been deducted if they check their details of TDS online then it will reflect credits allowed and not allowed. If credits allowed then the return is correct otherwise it is incorrect.
