For tax audit first of all you have to do the basic work like vouching and correctness of the book of accounts, next you have to see all the provision of income tax applilcable to the assessee. for example: Applicablity of TDS on various items, Section 269, Decprciation etc.
Basically in my opinion you should read the form of audit it self it will guide all the things you have to check.
