Is it Mandatory for a running company to get tax audit done, if after 9 months i.e. 1st April to 31st December it gets merged with another company?

Tax audit is based on turnover. If broken period's turnover is 60 lacs and above then you have to get the Tax Audit done for both the companies ie. prior to amalgamation and after amalgamation
