Taken back gold ornaments from india by nri

An NRI having Gold ornaments in India, now he wants to take such ornaments to their country (i.e. outside the India)
As there is any provision in Custom regarding such transaction?
Kindly provide the procedure that have to follow by NRI

There is no limit in taking gold ornaments as it is a bonafide baggage of the passenger. Get export certificate from customs authorities so that when you bring them back to India no customs duty is payable.
