director remuneration does not come under income from salary then why t.d.s as per section 192 is deducted from it
t.d.s is not deducted on sitting fes for directors
because it is paid for attending board meeting
similarly if a director is not in as a permanent employee why will.d.s be deducted

Director remuneration covered under salary income only. hence the TDS deduction under sec.192
18 September 2010
TDS is deducted under sec. 192b on director salary.
