When we collect & receive the SBC - where it classify? under indirect exp. or it's duties & taxes. Please let me know.

23 January 2016 When we collect SBC it is our liability to pay only in cash. Cenvat credit cant be allowed to be set off against SBC. However, when you pay SBC on any service that you are receiving, it your expense as you cant take its cenvat credit.

23 January 2016 Input SBC can be classified as Expenses, You cannot set off the SBC with out Put , Output SBC can be grouped under Duties and taxes , as you are liable to pay.

1)in service tax return should we take cenvat of sbc of input services?
2)Payment of SBC on output services paid with service tax 14% challan?
