While surrendering the Service Tax Number is it necessary have online registration with ACES
whether it can be surrender physically at the department without registration at ACES

No nee to do anything. write a surrender letter to department and attatched Original licence and submit to department.

department is asking to compulsory registered with aces and then surrender

Less tan 10 lakc not comppulsoty to register with aces.
