13 September 2010 I want to know process of surrender service tax.
like....

form no and what will be needed document if i want to closed my service tax number.

13 September 2010 1. File all pending returns, if any.
2. Pay off any demand pending.
3. Prepare an application to surrender registration with the reasons for surrendering.
4. Along with 3 above attach original ST-2 certificate.
5. Submit 3 and 4 before the jurisdictional service tax department under acknowledgement.
