as a guardian my wife has opened the SSY account in the post office and payment is made by cash and Father IPPB (India Post Payments Bank) account.
can father claim this under 80C as the payment is made by me and considering my wife is not an employee.

yes section 80C deduction is available to a person who has made payment.
