Status of total tax paid

Is there any possibility of knowing the total tax paid by an assessee?

The assessee has paid the taxes in last 5 years (less than 5000 each year) but never had filed return.

Register for 26 AS you will be able to view tax credit from FY 2008-09.

06 March 2013 There is no such option available looking towards your query.

It is Assumed from Your wording "The assessee has paid" means taxes self assessment and advance tax has been paid.

Just as Said by Mr. vaibhav, Check with Online 26AS, Might help you.
