PLEASE SUGGEST ME THE PROCEDURE TO CHANGE THE ADDRESS IN SSI REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE.

04 October 2012 In your case First you have to submit one declaration form to Service Tax Department because you are existing service tax no. holder then department will send details of TPIN number and user ID by email on your ID. With the help of this have to login on (www.aces.com). and then you can see the all the details which you have on your old serivce tax certificate. Then you have choose amend certificate option by filing ST1 form. after filling of Amended ST1, one acknoweldgement will generate. take print out of Amended ST1 and acknoweldgement and then submit at your range department along with necessary document as mentioned in acknoweldgement. New amended certificate you will get by E-mail after 5 to 10 days.

04 October 2012 Visit the DIC ( District Industries Centre) of your city, and submit a letter for shifting of premises/ change of address, they will handover you a fresh regn form and ask for some affidavits, submit the same with annexures asked, after verification they will endorse the new address / issue an ancillary certificate.

04 October 2012 on receipt of your completed form with documents, it takes hardly three weeks, they will keep your phone number, and if needed their one officer may visit the new address, and confirm the details in the meantime.
