I wanted to know that i want to deal in purchase and sale of shares.I had opened a DEMAT account in Oriental Bank of Commerce so i wanted to know shall i go through Broker or can i deal with DEMAT account directly please let me know the procedure

Hi Alex,
If you want to trade in the market like BSE/NSE then you need to have a Trading account inaddtion to Demat.
Alternatively you can do in off market also (not online either eletronically or with trading member)
Its advisable to have a trading account also.

Dear Alex
I will suggest you to open Demat account with your bank and open a bank account with broker is also good. If you are regular in touch with internet, trade you by your own demat account.
