12 March 2012 Can anybody guide as to what type of stamps have to be affixed on physical shares certificates in Bombay and where can I get them ?

Stamp duty will depend on state where the registered office of the company is situated, for e.g. if it is in maharashtra stamp duty will be Rs.1 for the share certificate of Rs 1000. (0.1%). you made application to revenue department of the area where the registered office situated for the payment of stamp duty.
