Can any one solve my query...
I have Long term capital Gain on sale of Securities along with Short term Loss on sale of securities..is it optional to set off short term capital loss against Long term capital gain...

In case of securities transactions where STT is levied, LTCG becomes an exempt income and such STCL can not be set off against LTCG.
