Dear Sir,
We are Transport Contractor we had provided transportation of goods by road in India to a foreign company
Kindly inform me is service tax is applicable or not ?

If the transportation of goods is to a destination outside India, this is not liable to service tax under Rule 10 of Place of Provision of Service rules. If delivered within India, then liable to service tax
