have you submitted the hard copy of ST-1 along with required documents and got the acknowledgement from department? Have you checked your service tax range in person about the non process of application?
What is the reply from department people while you checking in person?

Dept officers are saying it will take some time as it is for centralized registration. and ask me to come after some days, again again when i go there.

For Centralised Registration the concerned authority need to give the intimation for all the place jurisdictional authorities where ever you want to register, about your centralised Registration. how ever that also need to be completed by the department and need to issue the ST-2 registration certificate with in 15 to 20 days from the date of application received with all the documents.
It seems due to March month department people might have busy or may not got the clearance from all the places.
you can have 2 options,
1. You can make the letter in writing that asking the status of application ( it will make only documentation, department may not may not response this)
or
2. Make on Application under Right to Information Act for asking the status of application and reason for delay in process. Application need to write to The Public information Officer of the concerned Jurisdiction with paying fees of Rs.10 by court stamp ( you can make RTI also through online)
RTI officer has to response for this with in given time period
