Service Tax effective rate and abetment after 01.04.2015 for Goods Transport Agency and Man Power Supply Charges

04 May 2015 GTA : 70 % abatement instead of 75 %

Manpower : 100 % liability of receiver

04 May 2015 no sandeep service tax new rate will b applicable only once it get notified...

til now its 12.36 % only

20 May 2015 The Central Government has issued Notification No. 14/2015-ST dated 19-05-2015 (attached below) whereby Service Tax Rate has been notified to be increased from 12.36% to 14% effective from 01-06-2015. The levy of Swachh Bharat Cess of 2% is not yet notified and will be notified later.
