On Renting of Old Laptops whether Service tax applicable or Sales tax applicable. If sales tax applicable then can we take input credit of VAT paid on purchase of old laptops.

VAT as it is hit by the provision of "transfer of goods without transfer ownership". You can take credit as per applicable provisions on respective state.

vat applicable due to transfer of right to use the assets w/o transfer the ownership.
