Transport charges for moving the containers from one place to another place are charged the bill with out service tax.Whether service tax to be deducted on transport charges under reverse charge mechanishm.The person who received the services is dealing cargo handling.

Assuming the transportation is on LR/GRN/Bilty, In this case the recipient has to pay service tax under reverse charge mechanism notification No. 30/2012. The deduction of service tax from the transporter depend on the agreement between both the parties.

If service provider is having GTA licence and transport is done with Consignement note service tax to be discharged as per reversecharge mechanism,
