Dear Sir
We are having 4 to 5 stores of saree and Dress material in india. we are taking Tailoring,stiching and designing work of our customer. We want to know about service tax applicable to us or not and what is the rate of the service tax.

As you are providing Designing work you are covered under the service of fashion designing . and liable to tax for 10.3% as on the date.
If you just provide Tailoring and stiching you are doing manufactering and not covered under any services.
But due to designing you are under service tax net.
