I want to deduct service tax on the bill of transporter. may u tell me that what is the limit of single bill beyond which it is our liablity to deduct service tax.

the eligibility limit is for Rs 750/- per consignment and Rs 1500/- per goods consignment, i.e in case of composite contract for carrying the material to the same destination by dividing the truck load.
