Service tax on export of search engine optimization services

10 March 2016 We are exporting SEO services and Internet Marketing to services all over United States. Do we need Service tax Registration on this.? Can you please guide us if we need to charge service tax on the same. Do we need to apply for Service tax number at all. We are not charging any service tax till now . We do work for website owners in the USA and get payments via Paypal India. The money is paid by clients in USD but comes to our account n INR. Does 10 lakh threshold limit apply to this work too ? SEO services are to optimize customer website to rank higher in the Search Engines.

10 March 2016 As you are providing services outside India no service tax payable and registration required.

10 March 2016 Sir thank you so much for your reply . So this confirms that even if the threshold limit is above 10 lakhs for Export of Services then we need not get Service Tax Registration. Do i understand correctly ?
