Service tax exemption

15 April 2015 I have recently started a new firm and have got ST2 form. However, I will not b providing 10 lakh rs services this year. I read somewhere that I need to have a service tax exemption number to quote in half yearly return in order to claim exemption under small service provider. Please guide me
