It seems like there’s a little bit of confusion around the **payment** and **filing** due dates for service tax in the case of an **LLP (Limited Liability Partnership)**. Let me clarify:

### **1. Service Tax Payment Due Date for LLP:**

* For an **LLP** that is **registered under Service Tax**, the payment of **service tax** is **monthly**, not quarterly.

* **Due Date for Payment**:

* **For Offline Payment**: The due date is **5th of the following month**.
* **For Online Payment**: The due date is **6th of the following month**.

For example:

* **For services rendered in November 2016**, the payment due date would be:

* **5th December 2016** (if paid offline)
* **6th December 2016** (if paid online)

* The return for service tax (in the form of **ST-3**) must be filed on a **quarterly basis**.
