Service tax deposited in wrong assessee code

I have deposited service tax in wrong assessee code what is the solution for same, please help me.

If it is a valid assessee code ask the person to apply for refund/adjust in remittance and make refund to you. Pay your tax liability. Transfer that amount wrongly remitted to your ac not possible.

can department refund it to the bank account from which payment has been made?

The refund will only go to the account of the concerned person only he has to apply for refund.
