Section 44aa presumptive income

44AA. (1) Every person carrying on legal, medical, engineering or architectural profession or the profession of accountancy or technical consultancy or interior decoration or any other profession as is notified by the Board in the Official Gazette shall keep and maintain such books of account and other documents as may enable the Assessing Officer to compute his total income in accordance with the provisions of this Act.

My Question is The Word " profession of accountancy " means what ?? i.e who all are included within the meaning of "profession of accountancy". Do person hired for Accounting person , for which I m paying him Professional Fees is Covered in it ? Do C.A. is Covered ? etc.

09 September 2016 You are paying him/her professional fees, means he/she raised invoice on you so books of account maintenance is mandatory for him/her.
