16 June 2011 Respected Sir,
My articleship period was from 25/09/2007 to 24/03/2011,but due to excess leave for exams,i have yet to do 10months more....
so sir can i take secondment or transfer for this period of 10 months ??

what is the procedure ?

17 June 2011 Transfer is not permitted within the same city but under special circumstances it can be done but secondment can be taken provided you are serving the last year of your article training. The ICAI is silent on extended period whether same is eligible for secondment or not. Do one thing go to the office of Regional Council of the area where you are doing your articleship and find out the clarification.
