As per sec. 269ST limit for receipt of cash for a single transaction in a single day is 300000
But can any one explain is this limit is for year wise or for single transaction ??

The limit has been reduced to Rs 2 Lakhs from Rs 3 Lakhs. The limit is applicable per single transaction .
