hello friends. here i came up with a problem on TDS on Rent and i m sharing it with u please reply .
there is a salaried employ whose salary is more than Rs. 50 Lacs and he's paying rent Rs. 9 Lacs in the P.Y. and whether he has any liability in the C.Y. to deduct TDS or not ?

No he is not liable to deduct TDS as his income is neither professional or business income, so tax audit not applicable and TDS provisions also dont apply.
