hello , well I am also a ca student .. and I wished to know that how cam somebody save upon income tax or tds that he/she wud incur on fixed deposit done for eg. for an amt of 10,00,000 or above ?? plz help

if the interest income is only income and if its below the basic slab say 2,00,000 then one can file for 15G and in case of seniors file form 15H.
