Saturday Sunday as leave?

26 February 2009 If a student takes the leave of 3 months for the preparation of exams. Then, the intervening Saturday and Sunday should also be consider as leave? I remember I somewhere read that these Saturday, Sunday and other Gazzeted holidays are do not consider as leave. Please also give the reference for your comments by which can be used as a proof. Thanks.

26 February 2009 Hey, you are on leave for 90 days means everything is included. The principle of suffix and prefix will aplly.
You will be on duty when you appear for the exams.

14 March 2009 exam period i.e. 1 to 10 or so is considered on duty and not leave.
