Saturday Sunday as leave?

If a student takes the leave of 3 months for the preparation of exams. Then, the intervening Saturday and Sunday should also be consider as leave? I remember I somewhere read that these Saturday, Sunday and other Gazzeted holidays are do not consider as leave. Please also give the reference for your comments by which can be used as a proof. Thanks.

Hey, you are on leave for 90 days means everything is included. The principle of suffix and prefix will aplly.

Please can you give me the appropriate reference for this? And the holidays between the exams are consider as holiday or period on duty? Thanks.

exam period i.e. 1 to 10 or so is considered on duty and not leave.
