Dear All, I would like to know how to calculate the monthly earned salary when a person was absent 8 days in a month.
For Example : Jan'18 total 31 days out of which absent is 11 days. So for calculating per day salary I have to take 31 days or 30 days.
Suppose I have taken 30 days to calculate per day sal & then I have calculated remaining days. ( per day sal x 20 days)
Pls tell me which method is correct & pls explain with example.

You have to calculate salary as per 31 days.
Here your salary is Total salary/31*20 days.
Here your salary is Total salary/31*20 days.
