hello sir, good after noon.
i would like to know about service tax and vat.
my question is ,why some hotels will charge vat and some others service tax on bill amount

You have not mentioned Bills details, so far as my concern if you have consumed and Food and liqour then VAT will applicable or hiring of Room then Service tax will be applicable. else provide bill details so i can explain you in better way
