Hi Friends, Whether Payment of Electricity Bill more than 20000 in Cash will be disallowed under s.40A(3)
or
is it Covered under Rule-6DD(b)Exception i.e. Payments Made to Government.

Payment of electricity bill where it exceeds Rs. 20,000/- by cash attracts disallowance , as it does not come under any of the exceptions, since Electricity Board being a creation of a special Act and it is not Government, though it could be treated as Government company.
