Romoval of good from RG without payment of duty

Hey i wanted to ask that if i have got finished stock in our RG1 which cant be sold due to customer runaway so what do i need to do to remove it from RG..

And i read somewhere that i can destroy the good by giving an intimation to the excise office. will that do???

Yes, it helps you. Actually that is the proceduere. But the intimation would be prior intimation.
