18 April 2017 Dear Sir, Recently one of my Clint's brother got a notice from ROC. Company has not filed return from last 2 years. Person who got a notice that he had expired in the year 2006. His brother is not aware of all this. Going with the MCA website company is showing active and not showing any signing authority and Directors as well. So could you please suggest me that what letter should be draft to ROC. Thanks in advance. Regards, Atul Mishra

22 July 2025 Here’s a draft letter your client’s brother can send to ROC explaining the situation:

Date: [Insert Date]

Subject: Explanation regarding non-filing of ROC returns and Director details of [Company Name] (CIN: [Company Identification Number])

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, [Name of the brother], brother of late [Name of deceased Director], would like to bring to your kind attention that the company [Company Name], CIN [CIN], has not filed its statutory returns for the last two years as per your notice dated [Date of Notice].
