14 July 2020 My friend filed his ITR for A/Y 2019-20 and has received intimation u/s 143(1). Now he found out that amount of HRA exemption was wrongly calculated as a result higher tax was computed and paid. How can he get refund of excess tax paid? Can he file a revised return?
