23 January 2012 Sir,

We have filed return for the FY 2010-11.Now we want to revise the return .But tha act says we should file with in 6 months. as of now since we dont have sales we are not supoosed to Audit our accounts.Is there any methods so that we can revise our accounts
We are in Karnataka

24 January 2012 I think you talk about VAT return then the the period of 6 months applicable. for the purpose of income tax the specific period of 6 months not applicable but should be revise before the completion of the assessment and the return filed under section 139(1)only possible to revise the return other wise revised return is invalid.
